Chameleons are everywhere in Yorubaland and the subject of many stories. Verses of odu Ifa talk of Agemon the Chameleon with his fancy clothes who bested all the orisa at a party, none being able to match his finery as he magically changed his "clothes" from one bright splendid color after another.
