Very comfortable. These earrings are made to be presented to an Iyawo (an orisa initiate) in brasil tradition, who makes all initiations to become a Mae de Santo, (Iyalorisa), of the Yoruba orisa nature deities. She is also presented with a cowrie shell ring along with the 16 cowrie shells which she will use to divine for the public when she opens her own ile, her own spiritual center. The earrings and ring are part of the traditional wear of an Iyalorisa.
